What You Receive
Most security consultations address the product. This assessment addresses the building — its grade, its conservation constraints, its specific threat profile, and the planning implications of every intervention proposed. You receive a single document that covers all of it.
A full survey of your property by CEO Design Service — assessing the existing security provision, the building's historic fabric, its listing grade, and the vulnerabilities that require addressing. This is the foundation of every recommendation that follows.
A written assessment of the specific risk profile applicable to your property, household, and assets — from opportunist break-in through to ballistic-level threat. Recommendations are calibrated to the actual risk, not a generic product tier.
Priced recommendations for the complete anti-intrusion envelope — door systems, glazing, access control, perimeter — from physical deterrence to RC4/FB4 ballistic-rated protection, specified and costed for your property.
Where significant collections are held, a dedicated section addresses internal security, sensor coverage, environmental monitoring and safe-room options — the infrastructure that protects what is often the most valuable element of a prime London home.
A clear summary of any Listed Building Consent or Planning Permission likely to be required for the proposed works — identifying the relevant consent route, the conservation officer's likely position, and the documentation required to secure approval. No surprises at application stage.
A structured cost summary for each recommended element, presented clearly against the risk it addresses and the consent route it requires. A document you can brief your solicitor, insurer, or estate manager from, directly.
How It Works
The deposit structure is deliberate. It ensures Sandip can commit the time your property demands — and it gives you a clear moment to review the survey findings before the final document is released.

Planning Legislation Note
Under the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 and Historic England's Security in Historic Buildings guidance (2020), many security installations on Grade I and II listed properties require Listed Building Consent before works commence. Your assessment will identify precisely which elements require consent, the likely conservation officer position, and the documentation needed — so you enter any application process fully informed, not reactively.
"The assessment tells you everything. The planning outline ensures nothing in the proposal comes as a surprise at the consent stage."
Who This Is For
This assessment is structured for properties and clients where the security requirement and the planning constraint are operating simultaneously — and where a generic security survey will not be adequate.
This assessment is right for you if
Central London only. Assessments are available for properties in Mayfair, Belgravia, Kensington, Chelsea, Westminster, Marylebone and immediately adjacent conservation areas. Geographic focus ensures surveys are conducted promptly and proposals can be delivered within the offer window.
The Practice
CEO Design Service is a boutique heritage architecture and security integration practice working exclusively with UHNW principals and institutional clients across London's prime conservation areas. The practice does not work at volume. Assessments are conducted personally by Sandip, the practice principal.
"Security at this level is not a product decision. It is an architectural one — and it requires the planning knowledge to make it permanent."
